The 3rd Vision-based Remote Physiological Signal Sensing (RePSS) Challenge & Workshop
To be held at IJCAI 2024, 5th August 2024, Jeju, South Korea
Overview
The 3rd Vision-based Remote Physiological Signal Sensing (RePSS) workshop will be held in conjunction with the International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI 2024) on August 5th, 2024.
The 3rd RePSS workshop covers research topics related to remote physiological signal sensing from facial videos. Facial videos contain subtle color and motion change information induced by heartbeats which reveals physiological signals like remote photoplethysmography (rPPG). Extracting subtle physiological signals from facial videos requires robust computer vision algorithms and biomedical signal processing methods. As an interdisciplinary research field, the workshop aims to gather researchers from different disciplines to join thoughts and ideas, and also to provide a platform for fair competition and resource sharing. RePSS workshop is a series starting from the 1st RePSS on CVPR2020, and the 2nd RePSS on ICCV2021, and now the 3rd one. It is organized in the form of “workshop + challenge + invited talks” with an emphasis on the challenge.
The 3rd RePSS has two parts.
The first part is the workshop that aims at exploring the devices, methodologies and applications of camera-based physiological measurement.
The second part is the challenge for remote physiological signal measurement.
